FAQ's

  • What date will my event be on ? As with most US Figure Skating Competitions there are dozens of factors that go into building the schedules. We know this makes organizing travel arrangements difficult. Our team will do everything we can to send out schedule information as soon as we can after registration has closed.

Virtual Testing

Registration deadline for 2024 Copper Cup Virtual Test Session is August 18.

This year, Utah FSC will host a Virtual Test session in conjunction with Copper Cup. August 18 is the last day to register and all videos must be submitted by 11:59 PM MST on Sunday, August 18. At this session, we will only be accepting singles and skating skills videos.  Videos must be recorded on or after August 7th, otherwise the recordings will be considered “stale” by the registration deadline and cannot be judged.  While there is no need to rent private ice to record tests, there should be no more than 8 skaters on the ice during the test. Please refer to the Virtual Testing Video Requirements link at the bottom of this section for detailed instructions on recording and the US Figure Skating Rulebook for rules on virtual testing.

Skaters should register via Entryeeze and email the following to testing@utahfsc.com:

  1. Performance Affidavit
  2. Name and Likeness Agreement
  3. Coach checklist
  4. Link to test video*
*Videos MUST be submitted to Youtube with visibility settings set to PRIVATE

From USFS Virtual Testing Video Requirements:

Zoom in enough to have the skater fill a good amount of the screen but remain in focus. IMPORTANT: Keep the skater head to toe in the center of the screen (i.e. the frame) when following them during their performance.

For more details look at the Virtual Testing Video Requirements Doc

Results will be available approximately 7 days after August 19th.

With a maximum capacity of 30 tests, early registration is advised. Please avoid last-minute registrations and ensure timely submission of paperwork and videos. Your cooperation is appreciated. Thank you!
